Discharging resistors

Discharging resistors are intended to be connected to the terminals of the capacitor connection kits, with the purpose of reducing the el. charges in the capacitor (discharging), as these can represent a hazard for the user (the standard IEC 831 - the el. voltage on the terminals of a capacitor must not exceed 75 V, 3 minutes after its disconnection).

Discharging resistors of the following standard nominal values (el. resistance, delta connection, el. power dissipation of 5 – 9 W) :

  • 56 / 75 / 80 kΩ
  • 120 / 150 / 180 / 183 kΩ
  • 200 / 220 / 240 / 270 kΩ
  • 300 / 330 kΩ
  • 400 / 420 / 470 kΩ
  • 615 / 680 kΩ
  • 1000 kΩ

Discharging resistors with custom characteristics (el. resistance, el. connection, material, shape, color, length between the terminals of the resistor) and marking (single or double sided) are also available upon request.
